raziel
Bought a 50lber a couple weeks ago and made some block weights. I sanded off some of the slick finish and used some chalk to get a better grab. Worked with it, added some weights, etc. Just this past weekend, I bought an 80lb hex head to make some block weights, but now with more experience with block weights, I'm hesitant to sand this one down, figuring it'll be counterproductive to strengthening my hands. Any thoughts? experience? should I sand or not? I'm heavily leaning toward the latter.
climber511
You can always sand it later - try it as is for a while, then decide.
SqeezeMasterFlash
Don't modify the implement to make it easier. Grow stronger instead.
