Iron Man Grippers

Does anyone know what the specifications for these grippers were? I own one, which I believe is an "Extra Heavy". Its wire size is about .26" and the handles are spread very wide ~ 4". I calculate that the force to close is ~ 245lbs. Are these grippers rare?

Give some more details. What are the handles made of? How old are they?

If there the old 60's models Warren Tetting made the extra heavy had a .264 or .265 and the super heavy had a .281. Not positive on names or the other grippers that were made then.

Matt---

Can't recall when I bought it... many years ago, perhaps 20 or more from Perry Rader I believe. The handles are iron.

Thats a very rare gripper. Hold on too it.

Thats a classic. Thanks for putting up the pic. The one that Tom Page bought from Warren went for 250 bucks. So I would say yours is worth a little more than todays average gripper.
