John Beatty
Guys- I know Ironmind is putting the ends on the wrist rollers to allow for the 1" bar going through. I was fiddling with my wrist roller & a new idea came to me that would allow for using the older uncapped Ironmind or FBBC rollers without hopping the knot. I'm going to start welding a half link of heavy chain to the outside of my new rollers to avoid the inside knot, but for the old ones.... Adjustable roller brackets. they'll hang off a 1 inch or bigger bar & have bolt type locks (kind of like a "Squeezer" collar at the top). So it won't slide away from the roller. then a steel "L" hanging down from each. Basically, you'll put them on a bar or safety support in a power rack facing each other, tighten one down, put your roller in between, then tighten the other down with enough play to allow the roller to turn. Also, for you guys who keep a good bar at the gym you work out at, & get pissed when it winds up in the main area with some idiot dropping it on a rack, bar locks. My welder made the first few & Brian Schoonveld bought one to protect his bar he keeps at Quad's. It's a sleeve that fits over one end of the bar, then has 2 short chains that fit over the collar & a hinged loop that locks over the bar itself. You can't load one end of the bar with it on. $40 & pics coming soon.
John Beatty
Oh yeah - The bar locks are made by Donaldson Specialty welding. Separate from FBBC, but they will be available through me.
