CMunger
I'm going back and forth on whether or not to hiatus myself from any serious bending for a bit here while I attempt to bring my 2" axle strength up. An hour ago I had decided I would, now I'm wishy washy, because my hands feel pretty decent. I'll probably work some axle this afternoon and try to decide how much I think trashing my wrists is coming into play. But anyhow, I had a crack at a 6" Grade 8 as a "going away?" present to myself. Nothing too special happened. Pulled on it, warped/kinked it, made my wrist feel funny enough to not take a second pull. Not enough of a bend to start the crushdown portion. DEFINITELY springy suckers. I bet it moved back almost 1/2" as I released the pressure on it. Crazy piece of steel. Dangit, now I want to try it again
kerbjr
I am having the same dilemma but with the grade 5. I know I need to back off from training but it is too hard to stay away...It has affected my other lifting as well, bench is down about 50 pounds due to sore wrists and general overtraining....For me I need to train smarter not harder...sounds simple but I am a junkie....good luck Brett
