JeffPeterson
I use my pony clamps for thumb work. I use both hands to shut it then I try to hold it shut with one.
JeffPeterson
I forgot to mention that I also try to pinch them shut using my thumb and opposing fingers.

Davekline
I read a book about training for armwrestling, one of the exercises sugested was to take a pair of department store grippers w/ hollow handles and close them with each individual finger. Basically you would insert your finger and thumb into the hollows and do a rep with each finger. This idea is similar to the use of pony clamps, strengthening each individual finger. It sounds like a great workout idea to me.
