Rick Walker
Especially to my good friend Jedd Johnson who boards a plane to the frozen tundra of Minnesota today at 10:30 am. Good luck brother! Represent The Crew well and show em' what the PA boys can do. To everyone: Be safe! Good Luck! And Grip really, really hard! bseedot
It's a balmy -22F this morning in Minnesota. With the windchill it feels like -36F on the skin. For my friends across the pond that's -30C and -38C, respectively. Did I forget to mention that the contest was outdoors? Just kidding. We've got a heat wave prepared for the contest tomorrow... we're supposed to have a high temp on the positive side of 0. Don't let the sun tan lotion get your hands greasy. BC. CMunger
I move that the name be changed to the Frost Your Nuts Grip Fest. -27 driving my kid to school this morning on the truck thermometer. Most of the schools around here cancelled classes, but not his. I don't see why a kid can't sit in a classroom when it's cold outside, but that's just me. bseedot
Anyone have an IronMind harness? Jedd can just pull the plane here. Please everyone get here safely. When it's this cold it doesn't take much for black ice to form on the road. BC.

CMunger
Especially on bridge decks. Did a bit o' fishtailing this am as well. Roads look nice and dry, but it's too cold for the salt to work it's magic, so in places the salt dust is sitting on top of ice.
