Cunny
For grippers I know to work the extensors with bands. But what are the best exercises to work the opposing muscles used in bending/ I was thinking reverse wrist curls and sledge lever work but are there any others? bender
You can try bending and straightening a nail until it breaks. I can't think of a better way to hit the "extensors" of the bend than by "extending" a nail. I've done it a few times with a Yellow nail and some torn up hands, but so far a 60D seems out of the question. After about three bends, my body is shot. A remarkable feat if you can do it. MikeP
I thought I was doing something wrong when david horne said to straighten it out and bend it back and forth til they snap. I can't straighten them well. I see, it is just another DH thing that I can't do well, yet.
ianders1
I'm not a bender myself (yet), but I know that the lats contribute more to upper body stability than any other muscle group. You want find anyone who's got a strong bench press without strong lats. Sadly many people really neglect them. I would think that this would really help you brace your arms since they are the opposing muscles to the pecs. Just don't fall into the group of people who think pulldowns are just as effective. If you want strong lats, you have to do pullups. It's better to do 5 or 10 pullups, one at a time, than to do sets of pulldowns. Start with negatives if you can't do a single pullup.
