povmaciulis ARMLIFTING Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I am looking between a Ivanko gripper and a Choker gripper. I also heard great things about WD 2 and baraban adjustable gripper. Which one I should get in your opinion to progress with grippers as well as to get better grip strength? If your main focus is torsion spring grippers, get a CPW choker gripper. In a strict sense, the resistance is not adjustable, but it is a great way to progress towards your goal gripper, and it's superior to any other kind of choking. If you want a gripper with adjustable resistance, I would get the Baraban or the GD IG90 (but keep in mind these will not behave the same way as a torsion spring gripper). Actually, I think the best option from the past was Standard Adjustables, but that's a discontinued line, and I don't think anyone having them would sell them (I wouldn't, for sure). WD2 (Wrist Developer 2) is not a gripper, it is for strengthening your wrists/forearms and training for a specific movement: reverse steel bending. Btw since you mentioned "better grip strength"; other aspects of grip won't benefit much from doing grippers (for most people, anyway). For overall grip strength, doing thick bar and pinch are much better choices. Edited May 1 by matek 5 Quote
