climber511
Something I value is my old results – in comps as well as where I stood at various times in my life on the Top 50 lists and various sports and activities I did etc. One thing about the old paper magazines and /or books is that nothing disappeared into the ether so to speak of the internet. It is my fear that results and records might be forgotten over time under our current systems. Pictures come and go – videos the same. Competition results get buried in the clutter that is the online experience. So a suggestion for all of you (that I wish I had done) is to print hard copies of all your feats of strength – contest results (grip or otherwise) – training lifts etc. as well as backups of your photos and videos. 20 – 30 – 40 (in my case I started 65 years ago - it would sure be fun to be able to go back and see all that) years from now you be glad you did. I'd love to be able to pull out a booklet and see the things I did in the 1950s - 60s -70s etc. Or at the least see if what I actually did manages to match up with what I think I did LOL?
