Grip_and_Marx
Hey all I was trying to modify this gripper and while doing so the handle came off. I’m glad I was trying this on a gripper I didn’t mind messing up, but I would still like to salvage it if possible. It looks like it was just glued on. Would putting a new adhesive be safe? I feel like epoxy would be strongest but if anyone has any recommendations I’m open to them. Even maybe just drilling some holes for a couple of set screws to hold the spring in place. Thanks everyone! Spoiler
Zeferin
I glued it with epoxy resin! You don’t need a lot of it, and there is a caveat that the handles will try to break out of the springs due to air pressure! You need to hold it for a few minutes until the resin sets
Keet
Just clean the old glue and use gel CA. Or regular liquid CA if there's a tight fit.
