Arm wrestling + gripper training?

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking about starting arm wrestling for awhile now, there’s a club near by that practices on Saturday nights.

I train grippers twice a week and I’m wondering if arm wrestling once a week is gonna clash hard with my gripper training goals?

If not, what kind of split would you recommend? I’m assuming gripper training won’t be doable for a few days after arm wrestling?

Would training grippers early on Saturday and then arm wrestling at night be doable?

yes it will clash with your grippers especially if you are doing hard table time. However still doable if you make sure you aren't training both intensely, so if you work with light reps on grippers but going heavy on table its ok. If you want to progress specifically on grippers then you should not go hard at practice and mainly train technique at 60% or less.
