Aroostook Barbell Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Hey all. When you sign up for the contest on Iron Podium, there is an option to choose your shirt size. I’m also going to put competitors last names on the top/back of the shirts. ***The deadline to submit your shirt size (through the registration process) is June 1rst. The print company needs time to complete the job*** Just like years past, there will be trophies (supplied by Arm Assasin Strength Shop), issuable swag bag, food and drinks, and a great environment. IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU NEED, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Specific gripper size, etc. I will do what I can to accommodate. Really looking forward to having you all there! 1 Quote

I look forward to having you all there this year. This is shaping up to be the best one yet! Thanks everybody! 3 Quote

Vinnie Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Underdog, silly! Aren't you my age? That was my 6am cartoon for a couple years. Quote
Vinnie Posted June 22 Posted June 22 (edited) I weighed 168.2 today. Hoping to make the 74kg weight class by August 3. That's under 163, so I need to lose about a pound a week. Cake! Well, no cake, probably, but easy! I think I was 182 in October. Edited June 22 by Vinnie 1 Quote

If you're thinking about it, we have room in the car and at the cabin, if you want to join us. The cabin is only $530 for two nights, Anthony and I are splitting it but it has three bedrooms so we could split it three ways and be under 200 each. I'm sure we can plan the drive to pass by you even if it's a tad out of the way (and it might not be that much out of the way, not sure where you live). Quote

I wish, I'm actually already gonna be on a trip that whole week so won't be able to. Next thing I do is probably king kong 1 Quote
Vinnie Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I weighed 162 this morning in pajamas. So it looks like I am going to make the 74kg weight class for the first time in my grip-sports life. I've got some damage to do! 4 Quote
Vinnie Posted August 7 Posted August 7 With promoter Ronni Bossi's permission, I am posting here a chart of the results of Stronghold 3, which will also soon be entered into the Grip Sports International database (I will update this post with ages if I get them; included for Masters and Teen): RESULTS (Points are the total pounds of all lifts plus number of medley items done): Name Class Age 20mm Gripper 2HP Euro 2 3/8” NNM DS Inch Pinch Medley Total MEN: Vincent Rivellese 74kg/Masters 55 159 185 285 75 21 725 Emitt Samon 120kg+ 120 180 310 85 21 716 Derrick Brien 120kg+ 110 175 320 60 22 712 Tyler Ross 105kg 83 170 300 85 19 657 Matt Beaton 93kg 136 150 250 80 17 633 Anthony Clarino 74kg 125 140 240 75 18 598 Dave Belanger 105kg 72 135 250 75 19 551 Adam Dickson 120kg 72 120 260 75 20 547 Gage Theriault 66kg/Teen 16 80 145 200 65 13 518 Ben Chartier 83kg 83 135 210 70 12 510 Blair Mitchell 120kg 72 100 235 50 15 472 Tyler Barker 105kg 83 100 210 60 13 466 WOMEN: Kristi Russell 83kg 52 80 145 40 3 320 3 Quote
Vinnie Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Note: Ronni scored by adding up the total pounds in the first four events and the total medley items. Had this been done with reverse strongman scoring, Emitt would have won with me in second and Derrick still in 3rd; with percentage scoring, the top three would still be in the same order as Ronni's way. One thing I'm not seeing is their bodyweights. Do you know where that can be found? Ronni said it's under their names, but I'm not seeing that here. Sorry to bug you with this. 1 Quote The GOLD STANDARD Feat in Plate Pinching: 2x45s Pinch Get Your Copy Here: How to Pinch 2x45s Ebook Diesel Crew Store: http://www.dieselcrew.com/store/shop
