degradated
I tried searching but couldn't find any results. When it comes time to certify on the CTD, I want to make sure I have an accurate, approved and undeniable scale. Seems like shipping scales are the way to go but I don't know what brands are accepted, mainly for Ironmind certs. Anyone know for sure? I see a bunch on Amazon in the $50 range as a starting price point. They go up to several hundreds $ for a name brand like Ohaus. Thanks! WorksinaPinch
There isn't an Ironmind approved scale as far as I know. Jake Fuller just certed using this scale: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0153I0418/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I have been using this same scale since 2019. I'm sure the scale link above is perfectly good as well.

I would use the "pieces" feature all the time.

degradated
I bought the Weighmax that Derek suggested. It's pretty nice, but for about the same price, there's a few others on Amazon that have much better claimed accuracy (up to 10g vs 56g on the Weighmax). And the 440lb capacity is nice. Here's 3 solid contenders that I'm considering as a replacement if I decide to swap it out: Fuzion Shipping Scale, 440lbs/10g https://a.co/d/7KiZA3i Accuteck Shipping Scale, 440lb/50g https://a.co/d/5R68hkT THINKSCALE Shipping Scale, 440lb/28g https://a.co/d/gEHqF0m I like the surface on these three better, seems like they won't get scratched as easily... I suppose Ironmind wouldn't have a problem with any of them, especially with better readability, eh?
