tmmicklabs Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 (edited) Nail Pic This thing was tough due to it being so small. It's 3 and 1/2 inch's long and 3/16th in diameter. This thing was a lot tougher than the 5 inch cut of 3/16th crs I bent last night. Has anyone else here tried to bend a nail this short or am I just crazy ? young'un Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 now you need to go for the 2.5" nails of the same diameter! (8d or 12d? can't remember) i bend these all the time. they're easy to carry around, and because of the short length, even people with strong wrists can't put a kink in them. i use a completely different bending style then i do for 60d's or anything longer. anyways, they're fun to show off for people when i'm in the mood for that sort of thing. nice bending! jeff Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They are a tough little sucker becuase they are so small. Terry Duty's chart list them as only taking 50 pounds to bend but I think they are harder than the Ironmind Green nail due to their length. denver Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 The 16Ds I have must be quite a bit weaker than the ones ya'll have (they are finishing nails).
