Eric Roussin
In case you haven’t seen them, here are the results from the massive grip contest held in Sweden this past weekend: https://strengthresults.com/competitionHome/d193-245b-4706-9838-786911b6c79f/1?fbclid=IwAR2hEzUPkaAuqkW4XL2x06KH5Sl6tlGjAtw-z8Dc8xp3CBBatObMSg2jRNw What I think was particularly exciting was that (who I suspect to be) the top three women in the unlimited class were there: Sarah Chappelow, Becca Roberts, and Gabi Dixson. Gabi ended up being the clear winner, establishing herself as the person to beat if one wants to be considered the best female gripster in the world. Sarah edged out Becca by a slim margin. It was also cool to see someone relatively new to grip contests come out on top in the men’s division. 7
WorksinaPinch
The comp events looked so cool on this one. Sarah was about 16kg below her comp PR on the first event - 3x4 Saxon. Her 2" Raptor was below her potential as well. Regardless she will need to be in top form to be able to beat Gabi. Thomas Widepinch coming in ahead of Cim was a shocker!
Lennix
It was indeed a great event! Surprisingly the natural stones were the most fun event IMO. Taxed the hands alot though both skinwise and strengthwise.
