denver
I recently found a new use for the box of 16D 3 1/2" finishing nails that I bought when I first started bending. I wrap 3 up toether and bend. The technique is different since the nails are so short so you get a little different workout. 2 at once is a bit easier than an IM white, 3 is in the neighborhood of an IM yellow. I can bend the IM blue with confidence but I can't touch 4 finishing nails. I will say that the very short bending isn't quite as fun as the more classic bends but I plan on doing them most every time I bend.
tmmicklabs
Very cool. What is the diameter of these 16d nails ? Is is the same diameter as the iromind white and green ? 3/16th ???
denver
No, the nails are much thinner than the IM white or green. They are finishing nails and are much eassier than IM nails. I tried some last night and I think three at once is similar to an IM yellow.
