Inch replica Christmas present

Well I helped put my present under the tree, I’m excited to try it in a couple weeks. Curious how long it will take to lift it. 50 year old non physical job no real grip training but do a little regular lifting here and there lol

That's a great gift and starting with a 180 is ambitious!

Is that an 82 kg Holle bell?

There is a competition in Cheyenne on March 9 you should consider.

Who needs a Red Ryder underneath the Xmas tree when you can have an Inch DB.

Thats awesome, enjoy and good luck on the pursuit of lifting the inch.

Nice!

Who produced the bell?

Yeah, spill it. Tell us more about this thing! :alien:

Yeah...I'd like some specifics for my Christmas List to Santa.  🎅

Who made it?  What's the finish/feel, dimensions, etc?  And where can I get one?

Steve Slater I think it’s a gift so I’m not in the loop on it yet

That’s interesting, it looks new, is it? I have a Slater bell from the Rhode Island factory but it doesn’t say “Thomas Inch Replica” on it.

Yes new Christmas present wife did the leg work so idk, and 180 on scale surprised me but I like it she won’t let me play with it until Christmas 🤣

Meanwhile my wife rolls her eyes whenever she sees the mailman arriving with another flat-rate shipping box.

No way she'd track down an Inch replica to roll under the tree for Christmas...  😂🤣😅

DUDE. What I love here is we grip nerds do not recognize the bell, they are very hard to find/get, only a few companies are known to have ever made them, and your wife was just like “I got this.”

*slow clap*  Bravo 🎉

That is really interesting and a awesome bell you have.. And it came painted.  That’s where I got mine about 2 years ago. No markings or paint. But I prefer mine unpainted.

now I wanna weigh mine.

Pretty cool you got one that’s 180lbs. A little extra work is going to be put in to lift it but so what.

Ya I’m painting it just so it don’t rust but hopefully it won’t make it slick lol after my workout I played around with junk in my gym I’ve probably got a lot of work to do before I lift it 🤷‍♂️

You picked up 177 on a dumbbell with blue fat grips and left 365 camped at bench press height in your rack, so you must be strong as hell. Watching would be no fun. Just show up and give it a go. Last year at that comp 15 out of 20 people were first timers and most had never touched any of the implements.

Be sure to tell your wife that she no doubt is one of the most supportive of thousands of spouses on this forum.

Although I doubt if she comes close to the long-suffering wife of Chris Rice😎. How many times did they host “Gripmas”?😎
