austinslater
What is everyones best in plates with the IM pinch block?
JeffPeterson
I don't about these blocks. I like the plates myself, but my best is about 55lbs.
OldGuy
55 to 60 lbs I am not consistent on the Ironmind block. I have started to also use a 5 1/2'' slippery polished wood block.
33wes
I've done 70 pounds, though I couldn't hold it for more than a few seconds. That's a very slippery block!
33wes
BTW, I use the smaller block that Ironmind originally sold. Never tried the wider version they sell.
JeffPeterson
I've heard of some big numbers being put up on IM's old block. The new one must be a lot slicker.
Matt Van Weele
I heard Wade Gillingham has done 100+ on the new block since hes been training with it.
Chuckie B.
Guys, Anyone know what the highest weight lifted is in competition with the IM pinch block? -------------------------------------- "Live long, stay strong" - C.F.B.
Sean Dockery
If I remember correctly, the record in competition on the IM Blockbuster Pinch Block is 67lbs. Set by Wade Gillingham. I'll double check my old MILO's to be certain.
denver
I can do 45 lbs. left and 50 lbs. right on the IM Blockbuster. I have incorporated gripping training along with my climbing for ~5 months. Just to give you an idea of my aproximate strength level I can close an IM #2 9 reps left hand and 15 right. I realize these require much different strengths, but I feel my pinch is not too far behind my gripping.
