Although this contest is eight months away, I thought it would be fun to already start listing the competitors who have qualified and and registered for the 2024 North American Grip Sport Championships on June 1-2 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada . Eight competitors have already registered. By doing so they’ve reserved their spot and know that they’ll be able to take part.

While the contest is still far away, those of you who are already qualified and enjoy having peace of mind may want to register early. As a reminder, registration fees are fully refundable if your plans change and I’m notified early enough. Full details can be found in the main contest thread.

Hot off her performances in King Kong and the World Armlifting Championships, Alberta’s Michelle Collins has signed up for the 84 kg class.

Almost seven months and there are already 10 registered competitors! Want to take part? If you’re already qualified, I suggest reserving your spot sooner than later.

I can't tell you how much I want to ask my son's high school to reschedule his June 1 graduation ... lol.  I will be following this online at least, but really wish I could go.  I hope you promote another comp soon.  Need to enjoy one of your famous medleys.

You could just be like my dad, skip the graduation and go to the comp..🤣

I'm only being "slightly serious"

Corinne Lalonde, 2023 King Kong women’s masters champ, has registered for the 63 kg class. All classes now have at least two competitors… except the men’s 93 kg class. Come on guys — I don’t want to compete all by myself! :)

You being the only other competitor in the class is not going to make hesitant 93kg gripsters sign up thinking there are low hanging medals to pick ...
