My community is 80% Latino. Some speak no Spanish. I could not believe how good JJ ‘s Spanish is, especially for someone from rural Pennsylvania.

Don’t call him Napalm, call him Jederico.

Jederico should only have one “r”

Yeah, I have a degree in Spanish. Was going to be a teacher, but decided I wasn't fit to deal with children.  Wise choice.  I did, and still do, work as a Spanish Interpreter, albeit not super often, so I'm rusty and my accent is pretty bad, due to being out of practice.  Hopefully the hispanic folks who listened were able to wade through my accent and get some good information.

That explains it. Very impressive. My dumbest decision of high school was to take French instead of Spanish. Way back then, the Latino population of my community was a fraction of what it is now.

Even in my community today, an Anglo like you speaking decent Spanish is not common.

I apologize to the readers for going off topic, but as I said, for someone in rural Pennsylvania, this is rare, and practically shocking to see from my perspective living where I do.
