3” Pinch Block

I thought about buying an IronMind pinch block and stumbled across the Sorinex 3” pinch block, the Sorinex block cost is way less than the IronMind block. Both blocks are 3x6 so my question to you grip pros is there a difference between the two blocks texture wise?

Curious to hear the answer on this. I used to own the IM block but hated it due to how slick it was. Mind you the quality was awesome. Just hated the type of paint and texture they went with. I think @Douglas Carney recently sold a few Sorinex blocks so he may have an idea about the texture.

I liked the 3" Arm Assassin block because it seasons better and has a more square-ish shape as opposed to the IM block with has a more sloped/rounded side. I always wanted to try out the 3" Grip Genie block myself to compare to the IM. Beauty is with the Arm Assassin one you can get it as a 2-handed block which is adjustable to 4" and you can do still do 1-handed lifts with it.

Price was a factor back when I bought the Sorinex.  Pro - it was a good value and took chalk well.  Con - it had rounded corners like that slick Saxon bar used for Maryland's Strongest Hands.

I sold my Sorinex blocks (and Titan Fitness rolling handles) because I started using Napalm Nightmare (one and two-hand versions).  Saved me a little space and cash to choose one (NN) and stick with it.  It wasn't anything against the Sorinex blocks.  Hope this helps.

I haven't used either.. The Grip Genie one is nice.. I'm sure the others are too. The only thing I can say is I'd definitely recommend buying from a company that supports this community over ones that dont.

Arm Assassin makes great products.

I agree, Arm Assassin is another option that is much cheaper than the IM block. Money wise the two best options I found are Arm Assassin and Sorinex.
