AdriaanRobert96
So I thought about this today and I am thinking about heavier grippers starting from the #2 and up.. What rep range would be considered too high where you’d see no real advantage past that range? My highest reps on my average #3 was 7 wide set reps and I can say it helped with strength.. were would that end tho? 10, 15? Surely there isn’t an aswer fits all.. would like to read your opinions on this. Edited May 16, 2023 by AdriaanRobert96
climber511
I think it's highly variable - for me it varies even by body part or muscle group. But my standard rule of thumb is "anything over 5 reps is aerobic" Singes are a test - triples and 5 for strength seems to be pretty time tested overall. But for much of "grip" singles seem to work pretty well.

Fist of Fury
Everything from 1-50 reps has worked for me. And as always you need to have a goal and a plan for what you're doing, otherwise it doesn't matter what you are doing.

Every once in a while I work up to max reps with an easy gripper just for fun but even more so the mind blowing pump it gives Did 85 reps with #1 about three months ago and it felt like a good prehab tbh.
