Very nicely done!

The day I can close one of those will be a memorable day.

I’m definitely over the moon with this! Next step is to deep set a 3.5 and certify the 3. Whichever one comes first haha

I think those two feats are very close to each other, yes.  Deep setting an easy 3.5 is easier than CCS-ing a hard 3, but CCS-ing an easy 3 is easier than deep set closing a hard 3.5.  So it probably depends on the individual gripper ratings which one of those two things you will hit first.

Approx how long will it take to deep set a 3.5. I’m going to buy a used pre rated 175 coc 3.5

It took me a couple of years, could take someone else weeks.

It really depends on where you are in your own trajectory.  I am a smaller, older guy and closing a light 3.5 took me YEARS of work and is probably right around the limit of what my body can do.  But if you are still noticing yourself getting stronger, you may improve from 3 to 3.5 quickly, as it may not be your body's max and you may not be close to your max now.
