Can I recover doing grip and other stuff?

I do a powerlifting routine, three times a week (madcow 5x5). I use lifting straps. If I do my grip routine on the off days, would that mess up my rest/recovery?

No it would not just make sure to watch your volume on your grip days.

Lots of strong grip guys are also strong powerlifters/strongmen.

You will find something that works.
 

Ask yourself… What are your grip goals?

Do you want to strengthen your grip for powerlifting or do you want to be a grip athlete?
