What happens when a Vulcan spring accidentally gets stretched out during spring adjustment.

Hey guys I was wondering what happens when your spring gets stretched out accidentally during spring adjustment.

Sometimes when I am using my vulcan I accidentally push one side of the spring up a notch or very rarely even 2 notches up too far and the spring gets stretched.

I obviously don't want my springs to get weak but since it gets stretched out super far anyway while closing it it shouldn't be a big deal right?

I hope someone can answer my question

Thanks in advance,

Erik

Expansion springs are very forgiving in this respect. Even at the lowest setting, the spring is stretched farther (further? both seem to apply here) than during an adjustment mishap. Never mind how far the spring gets stretched when at that highest settings. I would not worry about this.

The only thing I've heard is once you put the spring on the highest setting, it weakens it by xxxxx amount.   Not sure how much it is. Worse case scenario is its potentially a little weaker now.

But I wouldn't worry...Especially hearing it from Cannon
