Chuckie B.
Got my G-Rex. It's everything I expected, and the service I received from Sorinex was excellent!!! Great products, great service, equals great company. I'll be reporting my progress on the machine in the training forum. ------------------------------- "Live long, stay strong" - Charles F. What are your thoughts with the handle spacing? I found them to be a little wide where my hand was stretched to finger tip location on the bottom bar. That is a little to wide for my liking. I wanted to shorten the stroke so I cut a 2x2 wood board the length of the frame and placed it under the bottom of the weight carriage frame. It shorten the stroke to 3 1/2 inches and the wood is soft enough to absorb and have some give if you have to release a heavy Negative. I like the 3 1/2 inch spacing better, but everyone has different do`s and don`ts Just a thought for you. Let us know if you like the wide handle spacing
Sybersnott
Can you rep your BW on it?? This is the best thing I like about the G-Rex... you can use your own bodyweight on it!!
Chuckie B.
zcor, When I use the machine for gripping I pull the weight up with both hands then do reps with one hand so the spacing doesn't matter. My max this way is #255x2. On my light day I work up to #210x10 with each hand, then go to plate pinching and block weight training. I'm going to experiment using a wood blocks for negatives, the crushing handles and thumb pad work. I'll let ya know how that works out. Sir Snott, Haven't tried that yet. I'll let ya know after I get a few training days doing it. "Live long, stay strong" - C.F.B.
