Everyone who competes in something needs to start planning 2004's schedule. We are almost there! :mosher

Mine looks like this:

April: NASS contest in Maryland

June: ADAU RAW Nationals in Erie, PA

August: Local 5K race

October: BFGS 2 (wont be competing-just hosting)

Late October: Century Bike race in PA

Early November-NASS contest in MD.

Whats everyone else's 2004 look like???

Smitty-

What the hell are you talking about?? You arent hosting BFGS 2 and you had BETTER be competing.

You had just better concentrate on closing the #3... :whistel:inno

may-northwest pl championships

july-battle on the river strongman contest

oct-bfgs2

late nov-early dec. wabdl world bench press championships

It would be cool if we could get 3-4 gripboard bfgs type meets every year. Maybe not ricks calibor but some smaller type meets with Ricks being the end of the year champonships. maybe have 1-2 in each area of the country and those who can compete in all of them go for it if not most could still shoot for there region meet and then the big bfgs at the end of the year.

Eventually I want BFGS to be the championship that everyone would have to qualify for by competing in other events.

Will it happen??? Who knows.

Rick-that would be ideal. I come from a powerlifting background so that makes alot of sense to me. I think it can and will as popularity grows. Like I said if we can set up different regions and to qualify from each to go to bfgs would be perfect. Im sure it can happen. we shall see :rock:rock Austin Slater

Smitty do you reccomend the icecream training if one has already been on a high icecream/Taco Bell diet? That pretty much somes up the past year for me :laugh

2004 should look like:

every three months or so another gripboard bash

Train up for a diesel crew meets the McMillan muscle meet up in the new year ;)

Train up for a summer meeting at my homestead with the Straub brothers.

BFGSII October!!! :rock
