ruffhans
Yesterday i tried bending agian. i have only bent 30penny nails this far. i was bending them the way John Brookfield shows in "mastery of hand strength". but it always hurts like living heck!! so i was thinking that maybee that is what John recomends and not the best positoin for me. so, i tried some other hand positions and found one that felt good to me. however the dang 30penny is too short and i could'nt get mt fingers around it. i grabbed a 60penny, ( only because of its length) and tried it. WOW i bent it! only an inch though. i think this is because once it started to bend i was shoked, and unwraped it to look at it. by then i could not find the nich once the nail was wraped up agian and my hands and wrists where tired from sledge training. i think that next time i try i can get it into a "u" shape i will keep you posted
terryduty
An inch on a 60d nail is an excellent start! Way to go, ruffhans!
SqeezeMasterFlash
Nice bend! Just unleash on the nail next time and refuse to give up. The nail will submit.

Razorman
As for me, I'm stuck with 6" 3/16 carraige bolts and 20d nails. I've tried 60ds, man, they're tough.
