Can you please add the last 10 Standard Irons?  I just got one from you and it feels nice by the way.

Thanks!

The Standard Fe I got from you rated 140. I’ve used it in a couple workouts now and it’s a nice step up from my 132# 2.5. Love the knurling as well since I do gripper workouts at work and didn’t need chalk at this level like I do with the 2.5 and GHP6.

Hey guys! Thank you for your patience. I will update these requests as soon as possible but it will probably be the 27th or just after.

Admittedly we do not see many of these any more.

Last 10 Heavy Grips 350: Min 167, Max 183, Average 175

Last 10 for RB 330.

Also for GHP Level 7. How much time do they not reach 150 or above? Those were outliers, weren't they? Thanks.

I could not have told you RB 330 wasn't in the ratings data. Apparently when we finally got more Baraban in 2022, that was the first time we carried RB 330. CPW has only rated 5 of these new: 181, 181, 183, 186 and 189.

If you include Rate and Return then we have seen 10 more RB 330s which range from 167 to 190 and average 180.

Regarding the GHP 7, I am not sure which ones you mean are outliers, but it is rare for them to be over 150. When they first came out, they were almost all over 150. The first 125 that we rated averaged 152 actually. That was through about 2016.

Since then they have averaged 144. Also since then, only 3 of the 215 GHP7s we have rated were 150 or above. So, at this point, it's RARE.

3.5? @Cannon

These are wild so I'll give more info.

Last 10 IronMind #3.5: Min 166, Max 188, Average 177

We have a large order in process with IronMind but it's delayed because storms damaged one of their production facilities. We are really low on #3.5 stock right now and plan on rating a crap-ton of them when the restock arrives. Even if I go back to the Last 40, the high and low are the same. The average is still the same, 177. But I feel like the average does not tell the whole story right now. 20 of the last 30 we have rated were 180 or higher!

Then compare this to the last entry: Last 10 IronMind #3.5: Min 165, Max 175, Average 170  7/6/22

Histogram with RGC on Ox axis and count of grippers on Oy axis would be better way to represent data :)

I had to google almost every word in that sentence. But I came up with this:

I couldn't figure out how to tell Sheets to drop the decimal spots and that bugs me. But otherwise it wasn't that hard to make the chart.

@Cannon

you could also look into Tableau.

as far as I remember they have Tableau public as a free version.

If you’re interested, you could build visualisations on top of rating data just by drag&drop manipulations and share the link, so people could look and investigate data by applying filters (brand, gripper level, year of calibration etc.) and other cool options.

I used to work for Alteryx.  I bet you've heard of it.

Thanks :)

The histogram is very informative for such kind of things.

We could clearly see the distribution of gripper ratings.

To be honest, I hear about it for the first time 😅

But I have built some dashboards in the  Excel, Tableau, seen how it’s done in Apache Superset, Graphana, have build my own reports using python programming language about 3 years ago.

I will definitely Google for Alteryx 🙂

I will probably stick with Excel and not work with it in Sheets. I love Excel not Sheets.

My daughter and I really like the game Clue, but can never get a third person in the family to play with us. So I used Excel to make a 3rd player simulator. It can make guesses, confirm or deny accusations from other players and theoretically could win the game. All built inside Excel :)
