Bill Piche
The prototype standard gripper arrived this week. Feels like a good strong 3 to me. The "Elite" MMG is definitely stronger which is good. It's going to one more tester, the guy I call THE CALIBRATOR when it comes to grippers: Heath Sexton. Special thanks goes once again to Jeff Petersen!
amaury
Bill: will it necessary to be a COC (or have a witness who has seen you close a #3 like for the elite status) to try to become a Mash Monster or will a pic of a #3 closure be enough to give it a go? Thanks! Amaury.
Bill Piche
You have to be a COC or witnessed by a gripboard member and a picture of closing a #3 for elite attempts. People need to understand the level of this gripper is not for the casual #3 closer! For standard, this won't be the case. We need to establish what's the criteria since there will be a limited number of grippers.

Bearcat 74
Got it lastnight. Cold closed it, I agree it feels like an above average 3.
Sybersnott
Heath... correction: to you it's not "average" - to you, it's easy!!
