Ole' Puller
"Horseshoe bending" (Training for a certification) • Filed Kerckhaert standard lite#1 • Failed attempt under cert conditions "Today's bending session was an attempt to train for a certification bend I'm aiming for. The shoe I used for training was a Kerckhaert standard lite#1 filed at the toe. While I got the shoe to a level angle of 180°, I failed to go beyond 180° which is required. In addition, I didn't meet the time requirements as well but I did feel good about things overall because this shoe was filed less than the last modified horseshoe I trained on and was a tougher bend. I'll just have to bend more shoes to get into a proper groove and I'll be able to dial these bends in much better."
