Apollon

Roark

Recommended Posts

Even though many of you may not care, I am mentioning the passing of

Apollon today because it marks the 75th anniversary of his death (in

1928).

He was, in my studied and therefore, biased opinion, the number one

oldtime strongman.

Amaury, here on the board, attempted to locate Apollon's burial place for me, but Apollon is not resting where references indicate he should be, so it remains a mystery to me where he was buried.

Any help will be appreciated.
