I think the sweep part is not really much harder at all on it. On a good day I can't really tell that much of a difference between the elite and most #3s on the close either. However, I can't fully close the elite on days when my hands are fatigued or where I have doing a lot of other grip work. I can pretty much close a #3 whenever now. It may be like a 3.2 or so if I had to guess. I've got a couple of other pretty cool videos that I plan to send Wanna in the next day or so. You must have some big hands!! fairly big I guess; 8 3/8 long or so; fingers are about the width of a gripper handle I'd say. My Elite is fairly new; I got it about a month ago.
