gotenmyoou
Do you think this equipment is worth buying?
savagewood
I don't care for mine because I never saw where it had much carryover to the grippers. If you just want to build crush without worrying about grippers I would probably get a different model.
Guest wells
I tried one and found it to be very awkward and uncomfortable in that it requires a very strange holding technique especially for the beginning of the squeeze. I consider myself to have pretty tough hands and have excellent hand and forearm endurance but this machine doesn't feel good to do. Also, it doesn't seem to hit the same areas felt in a real handshake or in an arm wrestling hold. Secondly, after the initial part of the squeeze it feels fine and is difficult until the final close which ease up and it is actually quite easy to shut and 'lock' it in. However this maybe due to my having small, thin, and flexible hands.

This is the main reason I didn't like it. It is supposed to mimic a gripper but, where a gripper is the hardest the HH is the easiest. I thought maybe using something like jumpstretch bands instead of barbell plates might make it more effective ,adding tension the closer you get to closure, but I never got around to trying it.
