Deck Of Cards Goes Down!

After about a minute and a half of intense effort, I tore my first deck of cards last night:

The hardest part by far was getting the initial tear started since the edges of the deck were so sharp. After that, I just gave the deck two good twists and it came apart like it was held together by velcro :) Today I've got a blister on one finger and a raw thumb pad, but once those feel better then I've got 3 more packs to tear :rock

I've been motivated about tearing for the last 24hours, so bought a few deck of cards. After about 3 minutes, I tore my first deck too! For those that can rip it in one quick movement (like Tommy's video): :bow

Thanks all. Bport, I started with both hands on top of the deck and once I got the initial tear started I used the reverse grip.

It can depend on the deck of cards too. I am a college kid so all my cards are bought from the dollar store, 50 cents a deck. These cards are much easier than a higher quality card. The average person cant even put a dent in an easy deck so I dont feel guilty about using the cheap stuff. I can tear the bicycles and pinnacles and Hoyles, it just takes me a little longer.
