Danne
You experienced guys out there ought to have some pointers as how to set a gripper before closing it. How do you set it? How do you start to squeeze it? Does thumb and wrist play any part in the final millimeters? Thank you
Bill Piche
Make some popcorn. Put up your nice easy chair to the monitor. Go to the GripBoard Movie gallery. Start watching clips of some of the best on the planet close grippers. Then, study the pictures of hand placement as well. Steve Weiner was really the first guy I studied on how to set a gripper. His video is in the movie gallery as well.

HAMMERHEAD
I naturally knew how to set a gripper. I just did what seemed to make sense. Later, I got KTA and it spelled out exactly what I had been doing. Nobody could explain a set better than Wanna did in his book. The best way to learn would be to get KTA, it would be a lot easier than looking at pictures. It's got pictures, video, and detailed description. -HH
