Braced bend 5/8x24” HRS

Happy to get this one under my belt. I went straight from the kink to a leg crush on this (also pretty gassed from doing a 3/4x48 just before). This is a PR at this diameter for me and I was pretty happy with it. Bend starts around 3:07.

... anyone I've helped with their bending is given the exact same advice for all styles of bending. Double overhand lagging? Hold the hit longer. Double underhand lagging? Hold the hit longer. Braced bending lagging? Hold the hit longer. - bencrush

Solid bend! 💪

Very interesring method to get past the sweep. Never seen someone put the bar behind their legs and kinda "deadlift" the bar while crushing it between the legs.

Yeah, I'm still not sure it's totally kosher but it's a very strong technique for me. I'm not sure why no one else seems as comfortable with it as I do but I get very good leverage with it.

Nice bend! That second position is interesting. I've never seen it done that way. May have to give that a try just to feel it out.
