Adding weight to Plate curl without device

Here is an idea for those that don’t have a plate curl trainer or can’t curl 35 or 45 pound plates yet. Use a clamp and put the plate further at the edge to increase the torque. Nice way for progressive overload for the fingers and wrist. Doing in this style from the bench like a table top curl increases difficulty and may help arm wrestling enthusiasts.  Enjoy!
