I just got back from closing the COC #3 in front of my official witness. I realize that I’m not a COC yet but the hard part is over.

I want to say a big thanks to everyone on the GripBoard. Your tips and information have kept me both motivated and focused. Your help is very much appreciated and I couldn’t have closed the #3 without your help!

What sort of stuff do you put in your bio? I don’t get MILO so I'm not sure what they typically include.

I trained with the #1 and #2 for 6 months or a year and made some great gains but never near enough to attempt the #3. In December of last year I re-discovered the GripBoard and immediately ordered Brookfield's books and a #3. I was first able to close the #3 in May but it took several more months before I could close it 100% of the time.

I bet you'll order Milo now! :D Include your age, weight, height, training regimen for closing the #3, other lifting accomplishments and abilities, etc. You are allowed a decent bit of space in your write up, so anything else not too outlandish could be included as well.

So what, does this make like, three of our guys in the next milo?

I don't know what the cutoff date is for the December issue. I think that Matt and I are going to be in December so that's two already. I'd think that rbrown and savagewood would also be in December. I think there's one or two more who I'm forgetting...

Include your age, weight, height, training regimen for closing the #3, other lifting accomplishments and abilities, etc.  You are allowed a decent bit of space in your write up, so anything else not too outlandish could be included as well.

How does this sound:

Name: Scott Greenbaum

Age: 32

Height: 6’2”

COC #3 Training Regimen: Strapholds using a steel ruler 3 times a week – a great trick I learned on the GripBoard.

Other Lifting Accomplishments: None yet.

Other Grip Goals: Lift the blob, lift the Inch, pinch 2-45 lb plates, pinch 5-10 lb plates, bend a 60d nail, tear a deck of cards.

Talk about tense-over half the guys competing Saturday can mash a #3 like butter-and they are all members here.
