Progress techniques for (underhand) pullups on ball implements

Recently I had purchased a set of lapis rollyballs (10cm or 4 inch diameter). I can rep out some pull ups with an overhand grip and maintain decent lockout and times. However when it comes to an underhand grip, I cannot hold my own body weight, although have been training holds with weights attached for now. Curious to know the techniques others have used to progress with these ball implements...  thanks.

Hang them lower and do body rows. Progress by getting to a steeper angle and you'll have a chin up in no time.
