Tacky

I was wondering if using tacky or something similar like 3M 77 spray for blob pinching or plate pinching completely takes away the purpose of the exercise, or if it still works the tendons and ligaments? I'm only talking about using just a bit.

I tried experimenting with a few products, for the sake of knowledge, not accomplishment. I found that tacky made pinching more dificult, it's like the tackey acted as a lube for a few mm before gripping. Very annoying. Chalk alone works better, in my opinion.

If it works, it does take away from the purpose, that being lifting the weight with your hand strength. If you wanted an upper body work out, use dumbbells.
