db2000 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Hello, I had rotator cuff surgery one and a half years ago (supraspinatus and infraspinatus repair from a complete tear). I have been back doing grippers, blockbuster, rolling thunder etc but was thinking one day of getting back to nail bending. Has anyone been through something similar and still continues to bend? I was thinking of getting a few steel bender helpers to transition into it and condition the muscles before jumping straight in Quote
NealB Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 (edited) This might be a little late to respond to but I just stumbled on this thread. I had a shoulder labrum tear. I went through surgery and 6 months of therapy. As far as bending, I stretch and warm up my muscles before hitting any nails. Unfortunately, the one thing I found to help is loosing some weight which helps you get your arms in a more comfortable position. I went from 220 to 200 and feel much better. I hope this helps a bit. I forgot about this thread! I still intend to bend so your post makes me happy! Thanks 2 Quote
