24 lb War Hammer Lever with a painful blooper

The make was after I parted my forehead.  Got going sideways and tried to stop it with my head to protect my wrist.  D'oh!

24.2 lb lever

And here was the blooper for giggles.

Ouch

If you do the math, this is only the equivalent of a 21 lb regular sledge, but the 2" diameter handle seems to add back in some difficulty

Hammer weighs 16.2 empty. 21.6 fully loaded with sand.  That's a 2.5 lb plate held on by a couple magnets.

I actually found the thicker handle easier than the standard. It opens your hand up and allows the wrist more freedom IMO. I like the thicker handle.

You said yours doesn't have the thicker handle.  I'm confused.

Oh yea.  Not to me.  But I'm old and they have an extra 8 lbs in the head now.  Lol

Yea I was basing it off how it felt with the 16s especially with the crucifix feat.

They feel slightly different with 8 lbs added.  😉

I expect at least 30 pounds out of you on the war hammer.
