When is a good time to stop train'n just before a contest, so you will have plenty of rest & strength?

I usually do my last grip session about a week before. This gives plenty of time for your body to get ready. In that time and prior, always remember to keep care of your skin and take callouses off.

If you haven't gained the required strength with a week to go, you ain't going to.

The only way to find this out is by experimenting to find what works for you.

A four days to a week is what I do. I took three days off before this Wed. in Ashboro NC. Hand are getting hungry, but they still could use three more good days of healing.

Looking forward to meeting up with you and Dave in the morning. I got to rest hands today. I'm on the backdown week with the KTA so I get an extra day rest.

Hoping maybe tomorrow will be the day my PDA gets closed.

I am with David on this one-I am ALWAYS my strongest after 7 days off. Each time I have lifted the Blob with ease was after a 7 day layoff.

My training cycle will end right in time to get 7 good days before the contest- :D

For grip events, I train everyday usually, even before the

day of a contest and sometimes even the morning of, and

even after, I don't seem to loose anything, but that is

just me.
