Kluv#0
Had a great time with all newcomers who had never tried any of the implements. I wore many hats throughout the day and it was challenging but well-worth it. Everybody expressed their appreciation for the event and myself. Next year will choose the weekend prior to 4th of July as many told me they could not attend due to travel/plans. Special thanks to Tod Becraft- who worked a late shift and still was on time and was plate loader, judge of many lifts. He is a wonderful man, promoter and representative of Northwest grip. Not only did you set the World record at the end of the competition but at the beginning of the competition you slammed closed the Captains Of Crush # 3 gripper becoming one of the very few people having ever done this in the Northwest.

Congrats on throwing a successful contest. Yes, It was cool to help/teach newcomers on each implement/event. You can imagine for the first time trying to properly set a gripper along with holding the setting block- quite challenging but everybody did great. Thanks for all of your support and tips Cesare. I was so engrossed in going over rules, getting the contest started and teaching the setting and holding/utilizing of the setting block that when it was my turn to do grippers I did 146# w/o warmup LOL( ended up 148#) but I appreciate your tips on grippers have helped me greatly. The owner of the gym, within 2 hours of a nearly 5 hour contest was asking me what type of grippers should her husband and her start out with!! Awesome enthusiasm by all and all Thanked me for turning them on to grip.
Kluv#0
There was miscommunication but the great David Horne, as He truly is a gentleman, allowed my WR lift. I truly thank him Edited July 3, 2017 by Kluv#0
