Strong Man
what's better closing #2 with 2 fingers or no set?
tmmicklabs
2 fingers in my opinion.
Matt Van Weele
2 fingers without a doubt.
Bill Piche
Easy one to answer. 2 fingers.
OldGuy
How about a two finger no set close of a #2?
Strong Man
thats what i though, but my bro didn't agree
Strong Man
How about a two finger no set close of a #2? i've tried and failed
thomas straub
most defently a 2 finger close
supersqueeze
So, for a given gripper, it seems generally accepted that a two finger close is more difficult than a no set close. Personally I use a very deep set for two finger attempts and because of this and my hand size find them less difficult than a no set close. Especially with my #2 which is particularly wide. Mike M. bballdad
how far apart are your handles inside to inside measurement supersqueeze? Mine are 2 3/4" exactly.
Guest gripmaster316
It was just a curious question I asked to my brother and apparantly he spread the question. The funny thing is my brother can close a #2 with two fingers but cannot no set close a #2. Having long fingers definitely is an advantage i.e I can no set a 2 no problem because I have 8 inch hands. My brother on the other hand has about 7 1/4 inch hands. Old guy I like your idea of a no set two finger close with the 2.
bseedot
It's easier for me to do a two finger close than a no-set close with the same gripper. Maybe I just need to practice no-sets. BC.
Emsquared
I find it easier to do a no set close, but maybe that is just because of my hand size Matt
RSW
It never ocurred to me to set a two fingered close. I will have to try it.
supersqueeze
bballdad - My #2 is around 3.25 inches wide at the tips of the handles. Mike M.
bballdad
wow that is wide compared to my #2. I just got my BB Grandmaster and the Elite today. GrandMaster is 2 7/16" inside to inside. Elite is 2 5/8" inside to inside.
supersqueeze
My brother's #2 is even wider than mine!! It is only a little over 1/16" wider, but you can feel the difference. Mike M.
DAN PETERSON
sort of depends on how wide of a two your talking. Overall i would say that a two finger is more impressive.

Jonathan Norman
Personally, I think that a no set harder, then a two finger close. But i think its pretty impressive to do it either way.
Anuwbius
definitly 2 finger close. How about a 3 finger no set close. Where does that fall into things?
Incindium
For me a 3 finger close is harder with the #2 than a no set. So a 2 finger close is even harder.
odin
No-set closing my #2 is easier than 2-finger closing my #1. I have only tried the 2-finger close a few times, so practice may help. I can't 2-finger close my #2 yet.
Clay Edgin
What would be really impressive is if you were closing that #2 with your pinky and ring fingers!
odin
Strong Man, didn't you post once that you closed the #2 with 1 finger, or was that someone else?
