Where To Buy Chalk?

I need to get some lifting chalk, never had use for it til now, but is there any local place to buy it? I suppose I could order some and wait a week for it to come in (another week wouldn't kill me) but I figure if there's some local type places (Twin Cities) that I can pick some up, that'd be cool.

You could oreder some from IM but I'm sure if you called around to some places in the Twin Cities you could find some. Where I live it's probably one twentieth the size of the Twin Cities area and theres a place that sells chalk.

Where in the cities are you? Galyans and REI on 494 both sell chalk.

Go to any hardcore weightlifting gym... chances are they sell the stuff, so get a brick or two; it's cheap.

If you are really cheap, just steal some board chalk. I use it all the time for my grip workouts and it works perfectly.

I ordered mine really cheap from a retailer for school fitness equipment so check your area for this kindof company as well.

Another thing, if you are in for a quick fix, you can get a small rosin bag (not sticky rosin) used for baseball or bowling- Works just as well as chalk. Also less messy, and easier to hide from unfriendly gyms. Can find it at any sporting goods store.
