rest after thickbar

How much rest do you guys take after training thickbar? Let's say a good Crusher session and whatever else you'd do that day.  Are you training next day, 2 days later, 3 days, etc.? 

Do you have things you would or would not recommend training during your next grip session post thickbar training?

Right now I train three times a week and I stay away from grippers completely. I guess it's ok to do light gripper work but definitely not heavy. I feel that thick bar and grippers cancel each other out for me. Very difficult to make any gains on any of them if I do them in the same period.
