EvanR Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) I ran into this video of Brad Johnson today, I also saw a post on fb doing front lever on rafters + 100lb using wt vests! Pretty amazing, is Brad here on the grip board? Does anyone know what his background is? When I looked him up I also found this http://www.ironmind.com/articles/extreme-bodyweight-training/ very creative training, I 'm gonna try the gripper pullups for sure! MRabich Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) At one point he was posting here, he wrote the book for Ironmind, also he was a big poster on dragondoor forum, he must of been into kettlebells, perhaps one of their coaches. Edited February 21, 2016 by MRabich 1 Quote

anwnate Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Impressive shit. Reminds me of the hard to comprehend vids ATG has been putting up lately. There is something to be said about specificity...but 75lbs added is borderline re-donk-ulous. Quote Current Goal: Train consistently...consistently. That's makes this a lot easier.... right? yea, it makes it super easy :P seriously though rafters and pinch setups differ, I think that if you are consistent with training at a specific width/set up you become better at it faster vs doing random stuff and wish for carryover, what Nate also mentioned about specificity. EvanR Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 This is what I've been working on recently, I really enjoy combining calisthenics/gymnastics and grip. Quote
