MRabich Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 I have old husky Ironmind dumbbell handles, 2.5 inches, several times I cleaned them at 98 lbs with my left and 94 with my right hand, the most you can load them is 108 lbs (5 10 lb plates on each side) I would really like to accomplish this, how much can you guys clean on 2.5 dbs? jvance Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Sounds awesome! That will really help your overall thickbar-working explosively. I've never tried cleaning specifically on a 2.5 inch bar. I have 2.75" ill try it on one of these days. The only 2.5" I have is a 100 lb solid steel axle, at one point I could hang clean it with the right hand but not the left.
